IIM Bangalore Announces Admission To FPM Programme For 2014 - Form Submission Deadline

Institute: Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore is the third IIM which was established in the year 1973 after IIM Calcutta and IIM Ahmedabad. It is considered to be among the apex B-schools in India. IIM Bangalore is renowned for its research facilities and the scope it provides to the research scholars for management studies. IIM Bangalore has announced the admission for Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) for the year 2014. Programme: Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) Duration: The duration of the FPM or the doctoral programme generally take 4 to 4.5 years to finish the thesis work. However, total maximum allowed time to complete FPM is 7 years. Specializations: Corporate Strategy and Policy Economics and Social Sciences Finance & Control Marketing Organisational Behaviour & Human Resource Management Production & Operations Management Quantitative Methods Information Systems Public Policy & Public Systems Intakes: Generally IIM Bangalore offers 2 to 6 students per area. XLRI Jamshedpur PGDM 2014-16 Application Process To Start From Sept 2 - Form Submission Deadline

MICA Announces MICAT 2014 Registration Starts From September - Form Submission Deadline

The exact dates have not been announced by MICA yet. About MICAT 2014: MICAT is the entrance exam conducted by MICA for its flagship 2 year Post Graduate Diploma in Management– Communication (PGDM-C). The candidates who will take any of the national MBA entrance exams among CAT 2013, XAT 2014, MAT 2013-14, CMAT September 2013 and ATMA 2013 (February/May/July) or GMAT 2010 onwards will be eligible to take MICAT. It is a paper pencil based test which is a combination of both subjective and objective. Exam: MICA Admissions Test 2014 (MICAT 2014) Conducting Institute: Mudra Institute of Communication Ahmedabad (MICA) MICAT 2014 Eligibility: The MICAT 2014 Eligibility mentions that candidates should be graduates in any discipline from a recognized university in a 10+2+3 system or equivalent. The applicants should also appear for the exams like CAT 2013, XAT 2014, MAT 2013-14, CMAT September 2013 and ATMA 2013 (February/May/July) or GMAT 2010 onwards. Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for MICAT. MICAT 2014 Exam Date: MICAT 2014 exam will be held in February or March 2014. MICAT Exam Pattern: MICAT Pattern states that it is a paper pencil based subjective and objective paper. The duration of the exam is 125 minutes. The exam is divided into 2 parts. The Section I is subjective which consists of 4 descriptive questions on writing arguments, story writing and essay writing. Section II is divided into 3 parts. Part 1 is a Psychometric Test, Part 2 is Reasoning and Verbal Ability and Part 3 is General Knowledge. MICAT 2014 Selection Procedure: The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the performance in MICAT 2014 and CAT 2013, XAT 2014, MAT 2013-14, CMAT September 2013 and ATMA 2013 (February/May/July) or GMAT 2010 onwards. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Group Exercise and Personal Interview. Quantitative and Verbal sections from CAT 2013, XAT 2014, MAT 2013-14, CMAT September 2013 and ATMA 2013 (February/May/July) or GMAT 2010 onwards will be given 20% weightage each. MICAT 2014 Application Procedure:- Apply online. You have to first register which will generate a User ID and password. There are 3 steps of application, Register, Payment and Review. The application fee is Rs. 1785. MICAT 2014 Test Centers: MICAT 2014 exam will be held in the test centers located in the cities of Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Jaipur, Jammu, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Mumbai.

ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test (IBSAT) 2013 - Form Submission Deadline

Entrance Test :- 16th December 2013 - 7th January 2014 IBSAT is an aptitude test conducted by the Federation of Universities (FedUni), for students seeking admission into the management programs. IBSAT consists of multiple choice questions. IBSAT is for 2 hours duration and is aimed to test the applicant's ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension. Programmes 2-year MBA Program Postgraduate Program in Management (PGPM) Eligibility : Graduates (any discipline) in English medium with 50% and above aggregate marks. Final year students awaiting results can also apply. How to Apply Applicants interested in appearing for IBSAT can apply by any one of the following methods. A. OMR Application Form Applicants are required to fill up the OMR Application Form enclosed and send it to the Admissions Officer, IBSAT Office (address given on the left hand side). The self attested copies of X Class, XII Class and graduation marks sheets are to be enclosed along with the OMR Application Form. The students in the final year of graduation may enclose the marksheets up to the current semester/ year. B. Online Application Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form available on its official website and make payment of Rs.1,500 towards the cost using Credit/Debit Card (Visa/ MasterCard/ Citibank Card) through secure internet payment gateway. Applicants applying through online should attach their scanned color photograph along with the Online Application. The IBSAT Application Material will be sent to such applicants. C. AIMS Announces ATMA December 2013 To Be Held On December 8 - Form Submission Deadline

ATMA December 2013 Exam Date: Sunday, December 8, 2013 ATMA December 2013 Result: Monday, December 16, 2013 AIMS or the Association of Indian Management Schools has announced the AIMS Test for Management Aptitude (ATMA) to be held in December 2013. The computer based last ATMA 2013 of the year is scheduled for Sunday, December 8, 2013. Earlier, the ATMA exams were held in the months of February, May, July and August. Let us have a look at the details of the ATMA December 2013 exam. The registration process will start from Friday, September 20, 2013. Exam: AIMS Test for Management Aptitude (ATMA) Conducting body: Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) About ATMA December 2013: ATMA December 2013 is the 5th and the last ATMA exam of the year conducted by AIMS. It is a national level MBA entrance exam which is held in computer based format. ATMA December 2013 would be objective type multiple choice question exam. Association Of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) Test For Management Admissions - ATMA Online - Form Submission Deadline

Downloading of Admit Cards : December 04, 2013 Online Test : December 08, 2013 (between 2.00 p.m to 5.00 p.m) Results : December 16, 2013 AIMS organizes "AIMS Test For Management Admissions (ATMA)" a standard test for admission to postgraduate management programmes. ATMA approved by the AICTE, is focused on the student. It is designed to assess the aptitude for management education including verbal skills, quantitative skills ans analytical reasoning of students. ATMA has been approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India for admission on All India Basis to the MBA / PGDM and other Postgraduate Programmes like MCA. AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) is one of the six (ATMA, CAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT and XAT) National Level Tests recognized by the AICTE/ MHRD, GoI for admissions to MBA/PGDM courses. The national level status of ATMA has been confirmed by the Supreme Court also. Starting from November 2013 till July, 2014, AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) is planned on the following dates at 30 cities across the country: Sunday, 08th December, 2013 .. Online Test (Internet Based Test) Sunday, 16th February, 2014 .. Paper based Test with online Regn Sunday, 25th May, 2014 .. Online Test (IBT) Sunday, 20th July, 2014 .. Online Test (IBT) The test results (except for the Paper based) will be announced in about ten days from the date of the test and the scores of the candidates opting for your Institute will be made available through website, with an individual password. Eligibility:- Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Students appearing for their final year examinations are also eligible to apply ATMA :: How to Prepare ATMA seeks to measure the aptitude of the student for higher management education. Such an aptitude in a person is typically shaped and developed over a long period of time and cannot be altered in a short time frame. Hence, preparation for ATMA cannot be similar to that of university examinations. However, familiarity with aptitude tests and speed can be improved with diligent and regular preparation. AIMS does not recommend any particular preparatory course or training for ATMA, though these may be effective in varying degrees. Working out the'Sample Tests' is likely to help the candidate. Test Administration ATMA will be administered in the Computer labs of colleges. The address of the Test Venue is given on the Admit Card. Report to the Test Venue not later than half-an-hour before commencement of the Test. The lower part of admit card is "Identity Card for ATMA". The candidate is required to obtain invigilator's signature on it, then detach the lower part and retain the same for future use. Take your assigned seat in the Test lab. Change of seat is not permitted without the explicit permission of the Test Supervisor. Instructions regarding Test Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully before attempting the test. There are 180 questions spread over 6 sections. Total time allotted for the test is 180 minutes. For each correct answer 1 mark will be given and for each incorrect answer 0.25 mark deducted from the score. You will be redirected to next question automatically after attempting a question. Click the 'Next' Button to skip a question and move on to next question. You may revise an answer by selecting the question no. from the list. Click the 'End Test' button to close the test at any point of time. For any reason, if test gets disrupted, you may restart the test by logging in again. In such a case, you will not be able to change the answers attempted in the previous session for security reasons. However, you will be allowed full three hours without counting any time lost in any interruption. Nature of the Test The questions cover Analytical Reasoning, Quantitative, and Verbal skills. The following table shows the structure of ATMA. Total time allotted for the test is 180 minutes. Discipline at the Test Centre Candidates must follow the instructions of the Test Supervisors in the Test lab. Violation of the instructions or any unethical practices will disqualify the candidate. The decision of the Supervisor in this regard will be final. Maintain the discipline and decorum of the test centre. Always follow the instructions of the Test Supervisors. Books, notepapers, calculators, slide-rules, mobile phones and other electronic devices are not permissible. Giving / seeking / receiving help in any manner during the Test is prohibited. Cancellation of the Test Results A candidate's score will be cancelled by the office of ATMA, if any misconduct or unfair practice by the candidate is detected, by any of the several available means. A candidate whose result is cancelled, will not receive her/his score and will be informed accordingly.

XLRI, Jamshedpur : Admission To Fellow Programme In Management (FPM) 2014 - Form Submission Deadline

The last date of receiving the XLRI PP FPM (Non-XAT) Form along with DD/BC:- December 25, 2013 XLRI invites application for the admission to Fellow Programme in Management for the year 2014. Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is a Doctoral level (Ph.D.) programme. The FPM is a full-time, residential, doctoral programme that trains prospective scholars to become highly skilled and innovative researchers and teachers in various aspects of management. It primarily aims at preparing students for careers as faculty members at premier academic institutions. Eligibility A Master's degree or its equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) with the Bachelor’s degree/ equivalent qualification with at least 60 % marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) obtained after a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent. OR a professional qualification like CA, ICWA or CS with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) OR BE/B.Tech degree or its equivalent with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) and 2 years of relevant work experience are eligible to apply. Duration : 4 years The applicant must hold a Bachelors/Masters degree of any of the universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, or possess an equivalent qualification from an institution approved by AICTE. Non-fulfillment of these conditions will automatically result in cancellation of the admission. FPM candidates have to submit GMAT/GRE/GATE/UGC JRF (research) results taken during the year December 1,2012 and December 20,2013. Those who have done their PGP from XLRI, any IIM, MDI Gurgaon, FMS Delhi or XIM Bhubaneswar, with a CQPI of at least 6.00/8.00 or equivalent will also be exempted from appearing in the XAT. Short listed candidates will be required to appear for a personal interview during February-March, 2014 at XLRI, Jamshedpur for the final selection. Instructions for FPM Applicant: The candidate can choose one out of two functional area, depending on eligibility. Before starting the online registration, make sure you have a DD made. The DD of Rs 1500/- is to be made in favour of " XLRI Jamshedpur A/c Prospectus " payable at Jamshedpur. The candidate has to download the XLRI CONFIRMATION PAGE (Non-XAT FPM) after completing the online registration. National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad invites application for admission for its 19th batch two year PG Diploma in Agri Business Management PGDM(ABM) recognised by AICTE. Eligibility The minimum qualification for admission is a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or institution with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of SC, ST and Persons with Disability) in agricultural and allied sciences or any other discipline. The candidate must have a valid Score of CAT-2013 conducted by Indian Institutes of Management. How to apply Registration for PGDM(ABM) can be done by eligible candidates by any one of the following three methods: 1. On-line registration or 2. Request for application form and prospectus by post and posting the completed application The procedure for online registration for PGDM(ABM) is described below: 1. IIFM Bhopal Announces PGDFM Admission 2014-16 - Form Submission Deadline

STEP-3: Group Discussion/Interview: Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CAT score, will be called for Group discussion and Interview at Bhopal, Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata based on the choice of candidates, as mentioned in the Application Form. However, IIFM reserves the right on the allotment of choice of centre to the candidates. Selection Procedure: The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their marks in CAT 2013, or GMAT, GRE, GATE, JRE-NET, or written test conducted by IIM Lucknow Noida campus for the admission in WMP courses to be held in April 2014. Scores of any one of these examinations including CAT taken during the last two years (i.e., on or after 01 April, 2012) will be considered valid. It is a national MBA entrance exam whose scores are accepted by over 1500 AICTE approved B-schools across India. Exam Name: Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) 2014-15 (Second Test) or CMAT February 2014 Conducting Body: All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Eligibility: The candidates should be graduates in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year graduation students can also apply. Those who have taken the CMAT September 2013 or the CMAT 2014-15 first test can also register for the exam. Exam Dates: The CMAT February 2014 or CMAT 2014-15 (Second Exam) will be held in a window of 5 days from Thursday, February 20, 2014 to Monday, February 24, 2014. The slots will start from 9.30 am and 2.30 pm. Application Procedure: The candidates will have to visit the AICTE CMAT website for the registration on Friday, November 1, 2013. The new users have to create an account and login in order to register. You need to upload 2 scanned photographs and your signature during the registration process. There are 3 modes of payment, Net Banking, Credit Card/Debit Card and Cash payment. The application fee is Rs. 1200 + Bank charges as applicable for General category candidates and Rs. 600 + Bank charges as applicable for SC, ST and PD category candidates. Test Centers: CMAT February 2014 be held across 62 cities of India. Though in the CMAT 2014-15 first test held in September 2013 it was announced that the exam will be held in international locations, this time there is no such mention.

Fee:- Post Graduate Program in Management: Rs. 8,50,000 Selection Procedure:- The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their scores of GMAT, CAT 2013, XAT 2014 and CMAT 2013-14. The GMAT cut off is 670 and that of CAT, XMAT and CMAT is 95 percentile. The final selection will be based on past academic performance, essays, work experience and performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
