AFMC Exam

The institution is responsible for providing the entire pool of specialists and super specialists to Armed Forces by giving them in service training.Thus AFMC forms the backbone of high quality professional medical care being provided to the fighting forces. The college is also involved in conducting research in various medical subjects as well as those aspects which would affect the morale and performance of the Armed Forces both in war and peace.

Eligibility Criteria

Min Qualification:10+2
Qualifying Subject(s):English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken simultaneously.They must have also passed an examination in Mathematics of the 10th standard.
Min Marks:60% of the aggregate marks in these 3 science subjects taken together and not less than 50% marks in English and 50% marks in each of the science subjects.
Min Age:Must have attained the age of 17yrs on 31st Dec of the year of application, but must not have attained the age of 22 years on that date.
Reservation Crieteria:Ten seats are reserved for SC/ST candidates provided:The SC/ST candidates must qualify in the written examination and come within the zone to be called up for interview.They must come within the first 500 in the final combined merit list of boys and girls.
