Indian institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) is an autonomous Society under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and was set up with the objectives to provide training to the information and publicity personnel of Central and State Governments, organise training and research in the use and development of mass communication, make available facilities for training and research to meet the information and publicity needs of the public and private sector industries.
